Im looking for recommendation on a 3 day strength/size more strength routine that people have used please. Been looking at madcow, rippetoes and bill stars routines. Anyone used these to good effect? Been training bodybuilding style for few years and really fancy a change. Cheers

after years of high volume BB training i recently (about a month ago) swithched to SL5x5 based workouts.First thing i noticed was i dont feel tired and run down as i was doing with my busy work schedual and i swear ive seen some new growth already. Ive cut all isolation work out and concentrate on the big 4 lifts with some calve raises, bicep curls and close grip bench/dips thrown in.My muscles look fuller and feel more pumped all the time probably due to the fact that im not mashing them up with 100's of sets of dumbell raises and flyes.Ive basically gone back to the way i used to train when i started out but somehow over the years ive got caught up in all the routines and methods we read about in the mags.

Bollard recommended strong lifts and they have improved my training no end. Isolations are good for focusing on a particular muscle but this gets lost in articles written for the masses who don't know better and somehow works its way into the mainstream. At Testasaurus said, concentrate on the big lifts with a handful of isolations and you won't go far wrong.
No amount of training can undo a bad diet. Knew macro update 100% backed with science and gentics at least twice per weak, accuratelity dosed for more protien synthesis.
