No but it may be pointless as perhaps you already have 10 or 15 grams from the protein powder if you had used 3 or 4 scoops. If the amount if creatine per 100 g was disclosed then there would be no problem.). You could monitor and adjust so to speak!

John let's get one thing straight here, I have said in my reply to shane that maybe people have a call on that, it could be that I'm not so hung up on creatine, all I'm saying if I was so anal about it it's a route/option, but by and large if a product states it as creatine in I just use said product without adding it, but then as I say I'm not so hung about it.

That's just you Oasis, but you have to remember that not everyone is like you, most are not as this thread demonstrates, and most do want to know exactly what their consuming. Surely you can respect that?

What I have shane is a shop in Rotherham selling brands such as Optimum/Reflex/USN/Gaspari etc.

Money is tight and supps are dear, trust me mate I need no lessons on that, the last two months sept/oct have seen my hanging by the braces lol.

All I've said is it's an option not a do to add the creatine, also I did say people have a call on that score, I'm not so fussed on creatine myself so maybe that's why I'm  a touch blase on it, If a product as is it such as this or muscle fuel anab and the rest I just take that product mate that's it.

If I wanted the belt and braces I'd buy Reflex peptide fusion and reflex creapure and pay that price and be done.

Good post on page 3 iirc by The Graduate.

I don't know if proprietary blends are legal in the UK or not HOWEVER what I do is this:

The exact amounts of the ingredients within the proprietary blend will not be specified however the total combined amout of the proprietary blend will be listed.

An example shown here from USN:

Supplement Facts for USN Xedra Cut XT
        Serving Size: 4 capsules
M-phR Multi Phase Proprietary Blend  670.2mg
Evodia Rutaecarpa (10% Evodiamine), Carraluma Fimbriata (30% Extract), Capsicum (Cayenne) 200:1, Citrus Aurantium (30% Synephrine), Fucoxanthin (10% Extract), L-Tyrosine, Iodotyrosine, Diiodotyrosine, Banaba (1% Extract)
        USN-XT Proprietary Blend 535mg
Natural caffeine, Green Tea Extract (43% EGCG), Yerba Mate (25% Xanthins), Glucuronolactone, Naringin
        Bioperine - 95% Piperine Extract  5mg

To be honest you're getting a very similar product to this:

              http://www.usn.co.uk/prod...-2kg-25-Extra-Free/167

But at £49.95 for a 5kg tub. There's approx 2g creatine per servicing - so you get your full daily needs in 3 servings per day. Take a look at the product above, which is £71.99 for a 2kg protein powder, then take a look at Performance Protein, which is £49.95 for 5kg:

              http://www.bodybuildingwa...erformance-protein-5kg

Or £21.56 for a 2kg Pouch this weekend on offer :)

                2g CM thanks Thai.

                Similar for Taurine and Glycine?

Funny USN don't list Taurine amount, unless I missed it? USN have 25% free!

Two things they say the protein per 100g includes the Free Form Aminos which must be the creatine etc.

They also say 21% cocoa in the chocolate - that is a huge amount of cocoa just imo!

                The products do look similar.

AlterEgo, it's a prop blend. Due to that we can't release all the specifics. It's our formula and it's similar (though far from identical) to USN's premium protein product. No one has any issue with USPLabs selling millions of Jack3d tubs and never disclosing the actives, or Gaspari not saying how much XXX they have in Myofusion, or BSN with Syntha 6......

At the end of the day here are the facts:
                    - 30g's protein per serving
                    - 111 servings
                    - 5kg tub
                    - £49.95 with free delivery

                    That's a pretty spectacular offer.

I just checked it seems USN is 3g Taurine and 4g on the CM and Glycine.

Now 21% cocoa is that a lot or a little? To me it's massive.

At the moment very little! One or two scoops a day. It will be fine months past date either way!

Now 21% cocoa is that a lot or a little? To me it's massive.

Sounds big but maybe their customers like a strong flavour - USN is DW Sports best selling brand in store and in gym now I think. Lots of mainstream customers who maybe look for a stronger taste? Could also be a typo on the website and probably worth contacting them direct :)

cant be right surely?  wouldnt it add significant fats ?

                                        Not really daz.
                                        20g protein
                                        10g fat
                                        Some fibre as well iirc.

Cocoa is actually good for you but is not sweet on it's own! A mistake I made ages ago.
