Rasputin Lol thanks for the responses RB no that is part of the problem just took my first motion for 24 hours ripped me to shreds the thought of not ****ting for a week would def mean problems. Going to drink plenty eat lots of soups and smoothies for a few days to try get it to heal up. The creams dont do diddly really which is a touch annoying. Will have to just try clean living thank fook im not in the gym atm enema might loosen it up?

Been here, don't put nothing on it creams vaseline etc, they do it no good, and actually can make it worse, drink lots of water eat lots of veggies, don't strain, and it will heal eventually,I had it on going for 3 months and at times the pain was unbearable, and I'm talking a few hours after going. Eventually it healed, more than likely the cause would have been a day of poor diet, lacking in water and veg, followed by a hard stool that you strained out to cause the fissure. You want your stools to be soft, and not strained out.
If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

Lots of hot baths. You need a cream that relaxes your arse. It's the tightening of your ass muscles that stops it healing. Worst bit of going to the docs is not the finger but when he wipes for u

I believe sitting on the toilet for an age reading can also cause this. Get in get out.

Here is a serious, but hopefully very useful reply for you. If the usual creams/suppositories and laxatives aren't helping you, then have a wee chat to your Doctor about trying some Rectogesic, a GTN based cream. It is really expensive, and hence Drs are actively discouraged from using it, however, it works a treat for people who have fissures which are not settling down with the usual therapies. Good luck!

i had this just last week. oh my god sweet jesus did it hurt, basically i missed a day pooing and ate alot in that day. i went toilet the second day 7 times and i was literraly ripped to shreads down there. i was actually making weird screaming noises that i could not help whilst pushing the last one out and the pain was immense. the blood was worrying also. i got some anusol(sp) which really helped and it cleared up fully within a week. very nasty
