Lighter protein powders?
15 January 2013 18:04
( permalink)
Hey guys, I've been looking around now for a while and have tried all different powders but I have really bad gag reflexes when it comes to anything that is milky or milkshake type with thickness. I have a hard time keeping down all the shakes I have tried, even with water the flavours are just bad. I'm looking to know if there is any product out there with flavours like orange, melon, lime etc..I have seen pre-made protein drinks but they cost £35 for 12 cartons and I cannot take those daily at that price. Are there any products on the market or should I give up looking? Also anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks in advance Daz

Maxiraw is very thin as said above you wont go wrong with that . When I had it its the first thing I thought . You only need a small amount of water to mix it.

BICEP_BILL http://www.dolphinfitness.co.uk/en/syntrax-nectar-963g/24221 I had the crystal sky falvour, it was lovely. Also tried a teaspoon of the powder straight from the tub and it was like candy. If you can afford it, its a winner yes that stuff is gorg! I can only get it now and again but its lovely.

lost http://www.bodybuildingwa...use-whey-isoclear-907g Whey IsoClear is a clarified Whey so when you mix it, it tastes more like a fruit squash than a traditional protein shake. It's very light on the stomach and quite refreshing after a workout, so probably the right sort of thing :)

Use a natural / unflavoured product with no thickener and add more liquid.

Seems to be the cheapest for this product, just want to make sure as I was to order a few flavours and it doesn't show on musclesupermarket.com

Thanks very much, just before I make an order are pre workout supplements any good, I'll be in the gym 5 days a week after working 8 hour shifts so if they actually work then I guess I could use the extra energy?

Thanks very much, just before I make an order are pre workout supplements any good, I'll be in the gym 5 days a week after working 8 hour shifts so if they actually work then I guess I could use the extra energy? Theres better pre workouts than MET-rx mate . They do work but they work mostly in a mental way . Like taking a big hit of caffeine . I personally do like a pre workout BUT many of my mates dont and you do get used to them so not always a good thing. If you can do without I would but if you want one the bulk suppliers do decent ones , theres some good reviews in the reviews section to have a read . If it must be from Dolphin (a very good company) just a quick look at the list id go with White Flood i like that stuff a lot but everyone has there own favorites. Those protein bars are decent theres nothing wrong with them but again ask yourself if you really need them . There not the best but theres nothing wrong with them either decent ingredients in the sculptress ones. Not a meal replacement though.

Depends redwing, there are several companies who have started to put decent doses of proven ingredients, which definitely make for more than a mental boost to your workout surely? To answer RG, I quite like them as a pick me up when I'm training early (6.30am) before breakfast after my session, or after those days where I train later after work and seriously cannot be other to go! That's the handy mental side to them, but get decent profiles and there are a few other things which you may notice help your training, and some of them seem to get better with longer use.

Hes never used one , he needs a brief outlay of what they do . Yes I can name lots that have a few other benefits (debatable if you mean BCAAs ect) but the main purpose is surely for the mental boost . If not I dunno why im bothering lol (im a lazy sod walking to the gym at a snails pace) Dont forget mate he wants to buy from Dolphin as he wants everything from the same place I assume from the list hes made all from Dolphin.

If you have a thick shake, add more water until it is thin enough for you. Try buying unflavoured protein then add some "no added sugar" squash of your own flavour choice, no thickener as mobster said above.
