recently started getting really weak/stiff legs

hi folks,i play amatue football which has me training 3 times a week and a full 90 minute game on a saturday,I only started playing 6 months ago but my fitness has really shot up.Reacently after every training season and game my legs are abit sore and weak,its afecting me when i run,i feel like i havn't got any power in my legs which is unusual for me as iv always been a fast runner,iv been cutting down on my eating wise and iv lost abit of weight,do you think thats what the problem is? thanks for any replys

Probably a part of the problem if not the cause. You need to make sure you're pushing the recovery nutrition. Having consulted in the premiership I can tell you that this is one this we really, really stress. However, when was the last time you got a week off? If not for 6 weeks would take a week off completely (maybe a little stretching and foam roller work) and then see how you go. Don't drop food intake on your week off, though you may get a little 'smoother' you can't derail body fat goals in one week.
