looking for gym near salford?

hi there,
Ive recently started weight training about three months ago with a four day routine but ive just moved and my old gym is a bit too far. Also lookin for a gym where theres women doing weights too and im not the only woman in a room full of men, also finding a female to train with would be amazing! :) i really want to get in to it, my diet is not great as have little self control at work when theres chocolate around !any recommendations  ?

Will ther one called Olympic in Eccle with is pretty popular with the females on here.
Also x2 new yms have just opened Pure in Spinning fields and THe Gym Group at Picadilly Plaza near pic gardens... bit th of the £10 a month open 24/7.

Get to the Olympic Gym, I go there on occasion, Elfintan who is a member on here is rooted to the spot there as it's her hubbies gym. They will look after you very well and even if on occasion you are the only female there, the guys are fabulous, polite and very appreciative of having females in there without being leacherous about it.

thanks  for reply, I would really like to come to your gym esp as eccles is not very far from me. yeah i read that in the advertiser - amazing!
I'm on holiday till the end of the week but then id def like to visit :) I work till 6pm so are you open till later in the evenings?

Yeah we're open til 9pm Mon - Thurs and til 8pm on a Friday. I'm there late most Tuesdays and EVERY Thursday - and during the day Mon - Fri so just give me a ring and we'll arrange something, if I'm not in leave a number and I'll bell you back....don't be shy I don't bite...well not too hard ;0)
