think id die wieghing 10 stone after a week of that diet!

You need carbs, your body still requires energy. if you want to go low carb try have oats in the morning followed by either rice, potato etc with your next 2 meals then no carbs for the rest of the day.

Always have some form of simple carbs after training

If your going low carb you need to increase healthy fats to a point to make sure your energy needs are being met.

Sounds like an atkins diet mate, which isnt good for you.  You will get crazy cramps in your muscles with that diet, and loose **** loads of weight, including muscle if it comes off that fast.

I'd only do low carb if I was carb cycling, so low carbs one day with high fats (salmon, olive oil) then medium/high carbs the next day with low fats.

I did the carb cycling diet once and hated it, so when I diet down now, I have say 80% of my normal bulking carbs and add in cardio.  Let my weight drop between 1 to 3 pounds a week, so do it slowly, and if you want to drop a stone, in roughly 7 weeks loosing a little you would be at your target.  This would cut body fat, but maintain muscle, aslong as your protein intake is high.

If the weight loss starts to plateau on my diet, instead of dropping carbs, I increase my cardio say 5 -10 mins a day and keep doing that until I reach an hours cardio a day.  THEN if my weight loss starts to plateau again, i slowly start to cut my carbs to say 70% of a bulk, then 60%, and then im pretty much there.

Also keep in fiborous veg, Broccoli, sprouts etc, as fibre I find comes in very handy when dieting, and drink plenty of water.

I would love to see your evidence that this diet is harmful.  Why should you lose muscle if protein and energy is set correctly?

Gothic Muscle, It could be totally different to someone else, if they are dieting like above, but I doubt it.

As you said in your post, in  the diet at the top, there are very little healthy fats, which is what I was also trying to get across, it just looked like an atkins diet.

So there would be no energy or very little.

I dont like that diet at all - to much shake and powder - not enough food.

Also I dont see why waxy maize is being used at all.

I would go back to the drawing board - 1.5g per lb of lean mass for protein and then work from that - if you want low carb rotate 50-150g carbs per day - putting your carbs around your workout (mostly after) and having fat from your lean protein sources - remembering to include fishes.

I have experience with keto/ckd but not atkins but afaik, it is and always has been a high fat/low to moderate protein diet, I think there are 4 levels of carb restrictions these days depending on phase etc??

If anything this diet looks more like a targeted ketogenic diet,  only problem is it's rich in protein for sure but totally lacking overall energy. If the op ran this diet he would teach his body how to use protein for fuel,  not fat!

Agreed.  I've been following the Anabolic Diet for a month now, and strength is up, definition is up, attentiveness is up (no late afternoon drowsiness as was the case previously with fast carbs loaded in PWO shake...I train at lunchtimes), sleeping like a log and have gone two notches down on the belt! 50-45-5% Fats, Protein, Carbs.
