LAGGING LATS, ANY SOLUTIONS? - 03 November 2009 16:04 ( #1 )
Hey guys. Started a new mass programme and have made great gains in past couple of months except my lats. has anyone any ideas what i can do to get my lats to really come out? I have used very shocking technique and sets and reps ranges.

straight arm push downs. Keep weight light and focus on pulling your lats out as you do them. 3 sets of 12 at the end of your normal back routine (chins, rows, deads) etc

I like straight arm pull downs also... Strict form to concentrate on lats.

chin ups, dumbell rows, pull downs, deadlift's: thats what ill be doing when im training back up to norm.
Variation does help so sometimes replace dumbell rows with seated cable rows etc etc

I find pull ups and seated one arm cable rows really hit the lats for me

I personally dont get much lat stimulation from bent over rows etc.

Strict close grip (palms facing you) weighted chins are great imo.

use two belts, one around you, and one attached to the, which has plates attached to it. the wide grip pull up. hurts like fukc, but if it aint hurting, it aint working. i also like straight arm pushdowns.
