Cheers TB! Think its finally hitting the fat stores and not water weight! The cheat meal was a little messy this week though (and on Saturday) so think they may have left it slightly higher than it should be. Ah well, three weeks now without a cheat, so hopefully should get some bigger and better drops.

        Tighter? Lulz, I wish..

        Cheers Hoppy!
I cannot wait for this to all be over! I will then be all over everyones journals like a hot rash asking copious amounts of questions and commenting on everything. Cherish these few weeks I'm still snowed under!
I'm looking forward to up'ing the cardio to 2 hours a day! 1hr 40 is the max I can squeeze it at the minute, and thats only on rest days
Lol I really should of waited and not entered this SUC. My before and after pics will look the bloodly same at this rate!

          Squats
          60kg x 10
          60kg x 10
          100kg x 6
          100kg x 6
          100kg x  6
          100kg x 6
          60kg x 6
          60kg x 6
                     - Training with some Russian powerlifter, who was squatting 210kg for fun... Anyway he gave me some great tips about feet and hand placement, aswell as bar postion and body posture. He admitted at my stupid height though squats would always be a problem. On the last two sets though he elevated my heels on a pair of 2.5kg plates and had me doing REALLY deep, slow 10 second negatives and exploding back up. My quads were so sore by the end it literally ruined the rest of the workout!

          DB Shoulder Press
          22kg x 10
          28kg x 6
          32kg x 6
          32kg x 6
          32kg x 5
          32kg x 5 > 22kg x 3

          T-Bar Row
          60kg x 10
          80kg x 6
          80kg x 6
          80kg x 6
          80kg x 8

          James' Calf Routine
Started on 115kg. Felt like my calves were going to explode

          Cable Lateral Raise
          17.5kg x 8
          17.5kg x 8
          17.5kg x 8 > 12.5kg x 10

Ahh it is mate! Trained with him again today, so had him grilling me on my form on almost every exercise! Must admit though - his advice did make alot of differenece, even if I did have to lower the weight slightly

              **Yesterday**
              45minutes fasted AM SSCV

              **Today**
Started work at 4am today - never nice. So by the time I finished at 2pm I was feeling horrific. Still..

              Deadlifts
              60kg x 12
              105kg x 8
              140kg x 5
              140kg x 6
              140kg x 16 (I was going for 20!)
                                 - After the 16 reps it was enough! I rarely venture outside of 10 reps, and thats only for a warm up. Forearms already hurting!

              Clean and Press
              65kg x 6
              65kg x 5
              65kg x 5
              65kg x 5
                           - Powerlifter 'Kris' turned up and was pointing out when I clean, I only use my arms, where I should be dropping into the catch and front squatting the weight up. I tried it, but after Monday's squats, I couldnt even lift up the 65kg! My pressing was top notch though!

              CGBP
              80kg x 6
              80kg x 6
              85kg x 7
              85kg x 8

              Lying Leg Curl
              80kg x 5 > 40kg x 8
              80kg x 5 > 40kg x 7
              40kg x 6 > 80kg x 2 > 30kg x 3

No cardio today. Two weeks til the dissertation hand in, so balls to the wall (or keyboard in this case) at the library!

Re:This is going too SUC. 28 September 2011 19:50 (permalink)
Oh yeah, just realized I have posted nothing up about my diet! D'oh!

No assistance in anyway apart from youth. 19 FTW!
May possibly take a fat burner or Jack3d towards the end of the cut, but will certainly make sure to mention this.

                Diet is consistent, but in no particular order;
                Meal 1: 5 whole eggs, 3000mg Omega 3
Meal 2: Chicken breast (varied weight, 140-180g mostly), lettuce, tablespoon of EVOO
Meal 3: 200g Mincemeat, chilli powder, tablespoon EVOO
Meal 4 + 5 + 6: 50g whey powder and either 1tblespoon of EVOO or 1 tablespoon of natty PB.

Depending on energy level I may also throw in a little cheese on certain meals to keep me going. I also once or twice a week have a sugar free jelly pot (each sachet is 8cals, and I get 4 pots per sachet), but have not bothered for last two weeks. Incase you had not realized, im doing keto.

Cheat meals I'm not setting. Being about as soild as flubber, I have enough fat stores on me to certainly stand a few weeks without a cheat. Saturday just gone was my first, though it was more because it was a family meal (rare occasion) than having to need a cheat. I don't plan to have my next one until my dissertation has been handed in (October 13th).

Towards the end of the cut may introduce protein/veg days, over protein/fat, to help increase fat loss and 'tax' the body a little harder. This will be on 'off' days when only performing SSCV cardio.

Lifting is three days a week, full body split with a few isolations thrown in. Final 3-4 weeks may increase isolations (flyes, laterals, cable work, etc) to help add any extra definition.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who has commented and shown support in my SUC already. It has helped more than you can imagine, and I hope I can repay the favor in your own journals as soon as possible.

I have decided, this weekend no cardio (agian! ) and instead I WILL finish this dissertation! I have running out of time, and the 4 days leading up to the hand in I am working through the night, so will be in no mental state for uni work.

Once thats all done, time to loose some serious weight!

Oh yeah, and another stupid cheat last night! FFS!

                        This.

                        Plus,
3 bowls of cereal, 2 chocolate bars a yoghurt and two sandwiches.

Seriously need to learn to control this 'cheat meal'. Freedom means I undo everything

Haha! I would of let you have it mate, it tasted alot worse than it looked!

Annoyingly again I ate it without even needing it, and like before, once I opened the floor gates and allowed myself that bit of freedom, I ate everything in sight.

Been stuck in the library all day today (yay!) so not had any chance to snack. Didn't dare jump on the scales this morning, but the Monday morning weigh in will look pretty bad im betting
