          Hay jack...Good name that! :)

I have already been on the nutrition pages, very helpful information, i would have normally been running from carbs but iv been learning how to make them work for me and the best ways to burn them off and tone up at the same time!

I will be getting a Gym membership in a few months time, until then I have to make do with my home weights. The reason iv started to work out more is iv just lost my job (Last day is June 29th...) and as a result iv lost my house and its helping me deal with the stress, its a good release of negative energy!  I cant afford to sign up to a Gym...that £30 a month is food for a few weeks! haha

Picking up a bench tonight as well from a mate who is moving house and cant take it with him, Free bench! :) That should see me doing some better compound work outs.

                Re:Hello! I'm new! 12 April 2012 10:45 (permalink)
It has been a month of hard graft, iv used a lot of information iv found in other threads and from what a few members have told me to do on here. I got my hands on a bench, and a large selection of weights. Had a chat to a friend of mine who works in a Gym (He is pretty stacked and make me feel like a child!) and made a start!

Iv not really lost much weight, but i have lost a lot of fat! what was just chubby beer belly and a round face has now started to develop into muscle and iv lost around 8lb in soft fat around my abs.

Im still working on the compound workouts to build as may areas of my body as possible in each work out, mostly working on chest, shoulders back and arms! Iv just started to work on my Ads now that iv lost the beer belly (Significantly smaller than it was!)

And over the next month or so im going to add legs into the mix with more squats and dead lifts.

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice so far, i will be popping into the forum every now and again when ever i change my routine and need help when it comes to concentrated work outs. My shoulders are still pretty weak so will be looking at building those more soon.
