Early morning training/diet
17 March 2012 07:56
( permalink)
Returning to training after 10 years, so back to being a beginner. looking to train at least 3 times a week, with work/home commitments will mainly have to be first thing in the morning (6-7am) Will probably struggle with getting enough quantities of quality food down my throat, so any advice on supplements would be good. Can anyone recommend 1 supplement that would be a good 'all rounder' for muscle growth? Also any advice on diet for morning training? Many Thanks

Carbs, protein and healthy fats, plus a dose of caffeine. Shredded wheat, skimmed milk, fish oil or flax seed and whey powder with some caffeine pills sounds easy enough to me. The only thing you may have a prob with is that you could be eating to near your training.

Aim to wake up 5.45 to 6am and then train as soon as possible. So any advice on what I can eat at this time to enable me to have a quality work asap afterwards
