tone and shape question - 28 October 2009 13:18 ( #1 )
Hi ive been following a bulking plan to gain a stone, and now wish to lose some bf and look sharper. Do i need to change my routine from 6-8 reps. Can anybody post a routine for toning up, or advise on what if anything that needs to be different. Id like to have a body shape resembling the likes of ryan reynolds

Up your reps to 12-15 range working at 50-60% of your 1 r.p.m. this is better for toning. Up your cardio and keep your diet clean, with slightly lower carbs, work off this base......good luck.

hmmm, what is 'toning up' exactly? IMO if you want to keep muscle tissue(which you do)and lose some bodyfat then just adjust your diet - lowering carbs as Micky says is a start and a little cardio...but I'd keep the 6-8rep range myself and keep lifting as big as possible..

Is more about diet tbh, look at 10-12 reps possibly, but main part of dropping bf is more cardio and less cals
