I train a few times a week and feel I have a ok level of strength and a half decent physique but have got to a point where I don't feel this is enough for me. I could be be aiming a little high here but I would love to achieve a Henry cavill body. I would be very thankful for any help with a routine exercises reps etc that would help me achieve this. I know that his personal trainer would never reveal his exact routine but I am hoping that there could be someone on here with enough knowledge that could give me an idea of how to get a physique like his.

cheers

Well there's one thing that is beyond doubt, you will never have this Henry Cavill person's body. You can achieve similar levels of muscle mass and similar levels of leanness, but there is nothing you can do to shape your muscles in a way that will make you look just like him. This may seem elementary but it is to make a point. Don't worry about anybody else's physique, instead of aiming for "a [insert name here] body", aim for a "liamh79 body".

Secondly, for what it's worth, I had never heard of this Henry Cavill person before so I googled him. I only came across one photo where you could see his physique and, apart from being outrageously photoshopped and airbrushed, he doesn't look like he lifts weights very much at all, he is just very lean. If you wish to just get lean then it's all about diet and cardio - eat in a caloric deficit until you achieve sufficiently low body fat levels to expose your abs, basically.

However bear in mind you are on a bodybuilding forum and very few people will find that guy's physique very impressive, unless you can link me to a pic that shows otherwise as I can't really see one from google. It is easy enough to just get to low body fat levels. The hard part is adding muscle and subsequently reducing body fat while maintaining that muscle.
