traps- with back or shoulders ?
14 January 2012 18:52

I currently include shrugs in my back and bi's routine (as opposed to chest, tri's,delts) as i felt it was best in terms of training/resting muscle groups. Recently when doing chest ive been getting a real pump and hardness in my traps. would like some feedback on what other members prefer and how they have benefitted. Thanks.

Given that they are in your back, I would train them with your back ;)
JOURNAL I'm tougher than leather, I'm smoother than suede, Always never broke 'cos I'm usually paid.

very true : ) having said that my triceps are in my arms but I don't train them with biceps, simply because of biomechanics and the fact that biceps are utilised with pulling movements and triceps with pressing. Do you find your traps are stimulated a lot by pressing ?

I train them with shoulders personally.Might do them occasionally with back.Personal choice imo,I feel that they get worked more during my shoulder workout so thats when I do them. Can't see that the effects of the exercise would be lessened if you threw them in with back though.
