Well last night was legs and due to me working on the late shift all week couldnt get in the gym before 20 past 8.

Took my superpump as normal before leaving work. Got changed and then heard a message over the tannoy saying that the gym was closing at 9pm! Bit of a piss take considering it normally opens till 10pm every night during the week.

Anyways onto the session in the time I had.

This was the first time in ages I had done squats with a barbell. Due to there being no sponge on the bar for comfort I managed 3 sets before I had to stop as it was killing my neck,back,shoulder area. I managed 40kg, 50kg and 60kg sets of 5 reps before stopping.

Moved onto what can only be described as a squat come leg press machine. Done another 2 sets on this machine at 70kg and 80kg. Felt really good after doing these. Will be continuing on this machine until I can get a sponge roller or something for the barbell and will start at the 80kg weight.

After that I followed with stiff legged deadlifts as per the routine and completed. 1 set @ 40kg, 1 set @ 45kg, 1 set @ 50kg and 2 sets at 60kg. Again felt great after doing these and next legs session will start at 60kg as I felt I could go for more.

For the first time in ages I am noticing size increases across my body. Not sure if its the fact im eating like a horse now or the extra calories from the real mass but im loving it.

Monday will be chest day and really want to go for the 60kg bench, something I havent been able to do since before I was ill.
