After my last and first show i have suffered from what can only be described as the post-show blues.
I lost a training partner before the show too so getting back into 'off-season training' has been an uphill motivation struggle. I never missed a workout and i gained some great mass in the rebound so the question mark hangs over how much more i could of gained if i had some burning motivation and/or someone pushing me.
Not been half ass'ing it, if anything i'm stronger and bigger than before my last show...just feel like i'm 'punching the clock'.

I practically scared off a new recruit by crippling him with one of my leg workouts so the search goes on lol.

These updates in this TROG will be different to the training journal i keep as it will be more of the training ideas floating around in my noggin and general vents/comments of how things are progressing.

I own a copy of Joe Weider's Ultimate Bodybuilding, its practically the same as arnolds bodybuilding encyclopedia but with a breakdown of how the old pros of the 50's-80's trained and their contest training plans.

As a way of keeping things 'fresh' and motivating me more in the gym in the build up to the finals i'll be picking new workouts from the book and seeing how it goes and feels.

Bank holiday screwing up workout times at the gym, tomorrow will still be monday's workout
