Well last few days have been a nightmare for me. Tuesday woke up feeling really tired and weak. Spoke to a friend who I was dropping some supplements off for and he told me him and his girlfriend have swine flu! At this point panic sets in a bit not because of if I got it but my girlfriend is pregnant and I don't want her to get it.
Anyway by Thursday I was still not well. No temperature but other flu like symptoms. Off my food, tired, feeling sick after eating, was actually sick but just through excessive caughing, chest really tight ect. Went to doctors and he says its a viral infection.
So we are on Sunday now! Ruined bank holiday for me and the mrs. Today chest seems to be feeling better but it seems to have moved to my head as am getting shooting pains in it and feels really cloudy if you know what I mean. Hopefully it is going as have not trained for a week now!
Whilst I have been ill it has given me some time to think about my training goals ect and have decided to change from HIT training as I don't think it will really help me towards my new goals. As I have a child on the way I have decided that I really want to work on my conditioning so that I am as healthy and fit as possible and I also would like to get as strong as possible too and have chosen the westside for skinny bastards 1 routine as this is geared more towards athletes than pure bodybuilding like I am used to. This will be done inconjuction with some hiit carrying my ufc grapple dummy ect to get me in condition.
Daily updates to track my eating and training once I am better!
