hi there. while at work i had been contemplating missing my first session in a long time-i was feeling knackered and a bit low on energy, coupled with a slight headache. i had all but resigned myself to not going, but the missus wanted to go to the gym for a swim and then chill in the sauna, and wanted me to go with her, and i thought i cant really go to the gym and not train lol (plus she loves it when i have a pump going ;) )
so i got there half an hour earlier than i needed to meet her, and decided to go for a short shoulder workout.

i decided to leave it at that, i was yawning in my rest periods, never a good sign lol, so met the lady and went and chilled in the hot tub for a while.

Powerlifting isn't that lofty a goal! Winning a national event possibly, winning at international level certanly. My advice to people is to do a meet whithin a shortish time span if possble, if that's what you want to do. Maybe give yourself a year, but set out what that comp will be ie a divisonal meet.
