Yes - the Stars of Tomorrow will have a beginners class. Due to the high demand we have decided to incorporate a class for first timers again.

Now...how will the UKBFF enforce rules to prevent trophy hunters?
People switching from NABBA etc and trying to do a beginner class?

One reason i never agreed with 1st timers as it was always filled with guys who competed many many times before but switched feds for an easy win

good to see the first timers class making a return.  standards in the inters classes are very high, and i know for a fact that has put some people off competing with the UKBFF when making their stage debut.

hopefully people will respect the rules of the class, and it will help bring even more people into competing.

From what I remember back a while back, the first timer's classes were often of a better standard than the inters, possibly due to the reason outlined by Aaron above (though the inters was home to a few trophy hunters, too).

where does the ukbff stand on what Arron has pointed out as I no for a fact that 2 lads who done the nabba first timers class with me both had previously competed in a ukbff event I no this as I received friend request through face book from them and they both had pics of them competing in ukbff which I found amusing.

then they are cheats, plain and simple!  trophy hunters, who havent got the balls to step onto stage against people of their own level of experience.

Depends on whether the rule is first time on stage with the federation, or first time on stage ever before you can say definitively, Dazc.

there are cheats and they rob real 1st timers of not only trophies but possibly wins on a stage. Taking that moment away from someone is just wrong

If there gonna go down this route again, they need to start policing it properly, ive had many a rant at the ukbff for trophy hunting cheats taking the piss and the ukbff notbbothering to do anything about it.
