Not all powders weigh the same.

If however you have reason to believe the powder is similar to say flour then I can tell you that a teaspoon will hold about two-and-half-grams.

How about measuring out 64 grams of the powder then dividing it in two six times?

    scales

Did anyone see that street police programme last night on tv? They busted a houise for drugs, and although ssn't get any they found foil squares, needles, amonia etc.

    And some scales.

The copper picks them up, shows them to the camera and says

"amazing - there's an area to put your powder on to, and even an LCD display that shows you exactly how much it weighs. Ingenious. Whatever will they think of next I wonder?!"

    Stupid b@stard.

Buy a set of digi scales for £10, find out roughly what equates to 1g and go from there.

Half a teaspoon fairly heaped would be about right I reckon mate. You only have to measure it once on the digis to get a good idea of what a gram looks like.

    OR

a penny weights 3.56g, so make so make a see saw from a ruler over a pencil, with the correct offset (I'll do the maths in a mo) - then spoon on the powder until your system reaches equilibrium

It was on something like ITV 2/3 about 10:00pm last night. I think it's normally about roads and traffic police.

They had a funny lad who got pulled on his scooter and gave them a load of abuse depsite them saying they were going to nick him. hilarious - I was on his side.

£8 in home bargains or £10 in tesco.

how can you tell by looking if something is the same density as something else? whey looks like flour, is it the same density? i dont know, perhaps!

digi scales are the only accurate way to measure something at home, if were talking by the gram. usually dial scales go in 25g increments, but just because the needle is half way it doesnt mean its 12.5g for example.
