105 kilos to 77 kilo in 7 Months!


Hi People

I started my cutting phase 7 months ago after training for 2 yrs, before that I was doing No CV and had a 38 inch waist!! I had muscle mass but a bodyfat % of 25%. I started CV 4 times a week and cut all the crap out of diet and now only eat what my body needs... I now have 10-12% bodyfat and weigh 77kilo, I dont really wanna go lower but I honestly dont feel I have lost much muscle if any, my waist is now 31-32 inches. heres my diet.. Please note I have only added milk this week. I do require advice pls....

10am wake up- 85g Oats (100ml skimmed milk),40g whey protein in water. (was only having 50g oats until this week)

1pm- 150g (cooked weight) white rice with 130g tuna (Brine) some salad + maybe an orange after.

4pm- labrada RTD (40g protein) OR 100g Chicken breast with 5 or 6 rice cakes (low fat) or 6 ryvita.

7pm- 120g chicken breast with 120g (cooked weight) white rice, also some brocolli sometimes.

8.30pm- TRAIN Until 10pm.

10.30pm-again mayb 120g rice with 130g tuna or chicken or turkey.

1pm- Muscle Milk shake (with 200ml skimmed milk)

I alternate these meals but the values are pretty much the same, I was having 100g of cooked rice before last week for 6 months,so maybe I was having too little carbs?

Any advice much appreciated.. my aim is to get to 5% bf but weight around 85 kilos.....

    thats alot of rice late in the day, i am no expert but to get down to 5% i would cut out the evening rice at 10.30pm. Try have the meat with some veg like brocolli, spinach or kale.

    Welcome to MT!

    congrats on the weight loss. I dont understand what it is you want to do though, do you want to maintain now or bulk or or keep cutting?

    I am really not sure what I wanna do.. i would like a nice 6 pack and pretty lean.. but I want to be around 85-90 kilos...

    I think because i cut all the bad food out of diet and started CV i guess I burnt the fat too quick?

    Cut then, get your abs for summer.
    Bulk once youve got your abs, very gradually (whilst maintaing those pretty abs) and getting to that 90KG figure (slowly but surely).

    Best of both worlds, once you finish this cut for your abs. Sound good?
    its VERY important that you are happy with what you WANT to achieve, half hearted goals will cause alot of confusion and you wont go in any direction efficiently.

    If I'm cutting how many complex carbs should I have a day? or per meal? (i have 6 meals a day). I am 5ft 11. Someone told me I shouldn't eat Fruit and Milk on cutting? is that a sure thing? I am sure franco Colombo said Skimmed milk is good for cutting?

    Eat carbs appropiate to activity levels, If your goign to be active...eat more carbs before hand.
    If sat watching tv, you can probably reduce your carbs.

    Post your current diet up, stats, goals then people can help improve it(most peoples diets lack Veggies, good protein sources, omega 3 fats for the most part).

    Fruit and milk are fine on a diet, just fruit tends to be high in calories and not very satisfying so i prefer to eat vegetables, better vitamins etc too.
    Milk is also fine - Once again though, can be calorie dense(More so than coke!) and not very satisfying for hunger.

    I personally dont eat fruit, and have some milk each day on my breakfast cereal.
