12-13 hour working day diet
Hope you can help. I have been training for around 5 years now and have made 'ok' gains, gradual but a bit up and down at the same time!
Anyway, food is a huge part of my life, Im very health conscious. I have tried my best to use this site to alter what i eat and it is very helpful, however my working patterns make my goal very tough.
I am currently 6ft 3, 14 stone, not sure on body fat, fairly lean, bit here and there but in my eyes still look a bit lanky. Long arms mean i feel i always look small. They are just under 15 inches which i suppose is ok but not when you have long arms!
The main problem is i work monday to friday 8am til 8pm, I have an hour for lunch. I am only contracted to eight hour days but i work in recruitment and its commision based, plus i actually love my job and like being there! This does make eating quite tough, I would like to be around 15 and a half stone lean which feels like its impossible to get too. I can eat during work but only snack, the problem with all teh diet plans on here for me is the meals in the day time like chicken and rice etc, I would not be able to eat proper meals, only at lunch and at lunch i train and only get ten min to eat what i have so cant prepare. Tbh as i get home so late, by the time ive eaten its like 9pm and i dont want to prepare lunch for the same day. I know your probably thinking well work out what is important to you, but my job is very important to me, I would just like to try to get the body i want too! I can snack during the day like i say so nuts and fruit are fine (which is actually given to us for free) hence why i eat them in bucket loads!
I would also like to lean bulk, im not a fan of putting on fat, again making it harder, how high maintenance am i! haha anyway here is my current diet plan, I know I am under eating..
7am - Weatabix x 3 with semi skimmed milk, honey and flax seed
- Mass gaining protein Shake
- 3 Boiled eggs
- 3 cod liver oil tablets
9am - Banana or other fruit
10am - Protein bar, either home made from here or ordered off a site
11am - handful of nuts
12pm - oatcakes
- piece of fruit
12.45 - Train
1.45 - Whey Shake
Chicken and salad sandwich on brown
- Anabolic Pills
4pm - Fruit, handful of nuts
6pm - Protein Shake or sometimes i will have tinned sardines however it does not go down well in the office!
variation normally either chicken and spinach, salmon and brown rice with veg.or stir fri or tinned fish pasta with pesto and brown pasta
9pm - green tea, low fat yoghart
10pm - Mass gainer
11pm - zma
Now i know i am under eating if i want to lean bulk here. But i really cant eat big meals during the day. is it impossible for me to reach my goal or are there any more snacks or anything else which could help me?
