Thought I would just post 2 shakes that I made today... they are very slight variations, but since I'm a calorie counting nut, I thought it might help if I post their nutritional value:

    Shake 1 - 1/2 scoop of Strawberry Whey, 1/2 cup of Strawberry non-fat yogurt, 2 egg whites, 4 low-cal sweeteners, 2 strawberries:
    22.2g protein, 13.4g carbs, 0.5g fat = 147 kcals

Shake 2 - 1 cup skim milk, 1 scoop vanilla Whey, 2 Egg Whites, 4 tsp Mocha light coffee mix, 4 low cal Sweeteners, tiny bit of Vanilla extract:
    38.8g protein, 18.8g carbs, 2g fat = 287 kcals

Both surprised the shiznit out of me in how good they tasted, but the second one especially made me want to make a second!!!
I am using cheapy Optimum Nutrition Whey..

Just tried this at work for breakfast, easy to make and has a texture (don't know why, you may disagree) like cake and custard.

2 scoops of chocolte whey in 330 mls of milk as per usual. Then poured the milk over 2 weetabix and broke them up and zapped them in the microwave, stirring occasionally until warm. Once removed, cut banans into slices and plopped those bad boys in there! Hmmmm! Filling to say the least! Good mixture, of complex, simple carbs, and protein!

Only thing, I hope that the protein wasn't distroyed by warming it up... :-(

Here's one for you guys to try...incorporate plain whey into LASAGNE!! Not only is there the added bonus of the high complex carb content in the pasta, but your having a wicked meal with a good source of protein from the lean mince and whey protein. When making my lasagne I spinkled the whey in each layer of the lasagne and surprisingly there was no gritty taste.

Good idea to use the natural flavour whey rather than the chocolate... ;-)
