17 years ago today

Seems like yesterday, even though I was 10 when it happened!

Every time Heart Shaped Box comes on music television I think "man, that seemed like yesterday". I've always found that video quite haunting. Especially since Kurt died so soon after making it. Kurt died 5th April, 1994, if memory serves me correctly, so, yes, 17 years ago today. It's crazy to thing that "Nevermind" is 20 years old!The great Alice in Chains vocalist, Layne Staley also died 5th April. I think it was 2002 when he passed. Two of my all-time favourite vocalist-songwriters. Nevermind and Dirt = two of the most seminal records in recorded history.

Totally crazy guy but good music all the same. I'm more into dance music shall we call it lol, so for the more refined grunge/rock whatever it is fans - nirvanna is probably uncool. But i like it

12 years old -Kurt cobain - He died
16 years old - Tony de vit (hard house dj) - He died.

I gave up liking music after that

I like Tony de Vit too. I can't really find much stuff he's done though, only a handful of compilations. Any recommendations?

Links cu3ed to your fan site? Its like the hand of death

CK - Tony devit live at the liquid rooms in tokyo is good
    Some older stuff
Tony de vit - fantasia the remixers is good.
Best record was probably Are you all ready, amongst others.

I liked Seattle grunge music at the time but it hasn't aged well

Feels like a lifetime ago to me

RIP to various dead musicians. I don't think being a musician is actually a very healthy profession!
