3 weeks with Leangains Diet - Pictures

Hi guys,

Just to state first and foremost - These comparison pictures are for people who were interesting in seeing the effects of the leangains diet. I am not saying that my gains have been amazing over the last 3 weeks, but it is just a demonstration of the system. I apologise for my bad camera work and posing.

Here's just some comparison pictures after 3 weeks on the Leangains diet, using no cardio, 5 weights sessions per week (30 minutes each) and eating much more at the weekends.

I am impressed with the results, considering I only dropped 1lb and did no cardio.

I hope for those who were considering the Leangains diet, when we were discussing in the other thread, you can see how it actually can work

Haha thanks mate, yes I will add that the weekends did involve a lot of tacos, beers and rum! I am going to follow the trend today by attending a BBQ consisting of 3 dead whole animals! If you ever come down this way mate, I will look after you food and drink wise!

Have your stats remained the same( measurements) hate to say it buddy but looks as if youve dropped some tissue as youve leaned out but you did mention the light in the pics, sure you can tell best yourself

What have your meals been like in content and timming,i have also been on this myself since posted here unsure about the results myself

Hi mate, my stats have remained the same (except for my waist), maybe it is because I have been lower carbs over the last weeks so therefore I appear "flat" due to the muscle glycogen depletion. Maybe that or the lighting?

Deffo working for me to but not sure if its tissue loss as well, but also doing it paleo.

How many meals you getting in your 8 hour window?
Im getting 2-3 odd times 4 which works out so much easier to fit in with life and work.

Is anyone here using the fasted formula for recomp or actual Lean mass?

Im contemplating on using the bones of Berkhams work, to swing between a mass cycle sans the fat gain, with a short term fat lass cycle.

I think that can be done to an extent but you have to try it generally just to see if it works for you as a method before refining things further to cycle mass gain, fat loss cycles.

Some natty competative BB using his methods that look good,i think your fasting and feed window will be ok to a point if you go for all out mass gain i think its do able but youd have to be really dialed in for everymeal,a lot of us struggle to get the right foods in balance and quantity over 24hrs never mind cutting it down to 8hrs

Hard to fit lets say 4k cals into a 16hour window, really hard into an 8 hour window day in day out.

With work, life etc i think its ok to lean out or make steady gains but for all out mass im not convinced.

Perhaps better for those who are happy and wish to maintain over those looking to pile on mass.

I agree Brucieflea, the main idea of Leangains is to stay in condition, not those who want to continue through the process of bulking and cutting.

In my case, I am 80kg and I am happy to stay around this weight, I feel comfortable, I am happy with how I look, and I know I can continually make improvements to my physique over time without any need for radical changes to my diet.

With Leangains I can eat much more freely and still stay in shape, for me that is the main thing that I want because I love my food and to find an approach that allows me to eat well and stay in shape is perfect for me.

Not sure who it may pan out if you say for example ate a full bb Diet on training days then ate Leangains style on your off days with some SSC.
