3x8

is 1 set of 3x8 on the biceps a week enough to build muscle. Any recommendations??????????????

    Depends on the full split. I only do 1 direct exercise on biceps a week but opt for 4x6.

    Erm how ca you have 1 set of 3x8 mate , I think your getting a bit confused with the jargon. 3x8 means 3 sets of 8 repertitions. And yes 3x8 could build muscle if your diets right and your training your whole body ( yes i'm a hypocrite )

    No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

    I like the 3x8 for both bi's and tri's. They get worked well with other lifts as it is. One exercise is enough for most people.

    240lbs @ 13% bf

    Squats -- 475lbs
    Deadlifts -- Romanian DL (only ones I can do with an injured back) -- 150lbs dumbells
    Bench -- 325lbs
