cheers guys - here's a vid of the plate loaded keg I made (read bodged together): https://www.instagram.com...aken-by=joe180training

Today
jerk
60x4
70x4
70x4
70x3+1 - decided to stop power cleaning from the platform at this point and just lifted from the rack as I was blowing out my arse (plus my core, especially obliques were fried from yesterday)
70x4
65x4

flat DB press
40x5 - paused
44x5 - paused
46x5
46x4 - too much effort to get the first rep up

CS row
30x12 x 4 sets

low cable fly
3x12 x 4 sets

BB curl
25x12
25x12
20x12
20x12

skulls
12x15
14x12 - real struggle
12x12
12x12

face pulls
5x20 x 5 sets

I saw that keg when you posted it. Great work. It looks quite sharp though where you’ve cut it? How balanced is it ?

Squat 220kg(3) - Bench 200Kg - Deadlift 250kg - Strict Press 130kg - Push Press 140kg

sorry for the delay in responding bud, for some reason I can't get in to the progress journal section of the site very often - laptop just hangs (hence my absence and not being able to keep up with anyone other than OX as he's on instagram).

Used a bead of gorilla glue round the open end after I de-burred it.

Balance isn't too bad - empty it is more the closed end, but I have a couple of clamps so you can make it pretty evenly weighted by spacing the plates on the bar.  Have used it at 70kg and was fine (think it might be possible to get it to 100kg all in).

As I'm in I might as well fill out this weeks training so far:

yesterda
light sumo deads
132.5x4 x 7 sets - easy

2 sec pause conv deads
132.5x4 x 3 sets - again, easy

hang power clean and front squat (clean+4, clean+4)
70 x 4 sets - missed a few of the cleans - power is not my forte

bulg split squats
20s x 12 x 4 sets - this was brutal

cable pull throughs
10x15 x 5 sets

sissy squats
bwx12
10x12
10x12
bwx12

today
heavy pause OHP
60x3 x 6 sets

seated OHP pin press
50x7
52.5x8
57.5x5

Inc hammer
22.5x12 x 4 sets

flat DB press (pause each rep at bottom)
22.5x15 x 4 sets

joe complex lat raise thing
4sx10 x 4 sets

DB skulls
10x15
12.5x12 x 3 sets
