The only thing you will really lose in a week is water weight.

There is a post in the cardio section which is similar to this post with some advice for doing this but tbh its a waste of time, as quickly it goes it will come back, better to factor in some quality time if you want to lose fat!!!

You might loose 2lbs in water, but trying to loose 5lbs in less than 2 weeks is hillarious.

It is possible though, consume about 1000 calories a day, but you won't loose much fat this way, instead muscle and fat, you'll also do damage to your metabalism and as soon as you raise calories again you'll put it all back on.

Instead, follow a good diet, i.e. only 500 calories below your maintance and add at least 20mins of CV daily, and keep protein levels high, this will mean you'll loose minimal muscle and mostly fat.

Follow this advice and you'll find its a much more effective way of loosing weight.

i would not advocate trying to loose this type of weight to anyone
yes water weight can be easily lost through limiting intake, especially from carbs, but my issue is with the people who decide that they need to do it in such a short period of time

why do you have 1.5 weeks to do it? holiday?

in my job i hear this from nearly every potential client, i suggest re assesing goals and coming back when they have understood sustainable body fat % reduction doesnt happen in a short period of time and when they suggest it does i feel it devalues the hard work put in by those who go for the 'long haul'

it didnt take a week and a half to get fat, it doesnt take a week and a half to get thin is usually my concluding line

    nice!

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.
There is no room for junk food in any diet whatsoever, leave the junk in the bin.

    ok
    the issue has changed
    performance is king
    carbs are key to this
IMO you should have planned well in sdvance, dropping cal intake will obviously drop water and weight but will also hinder performance in many situations

plan ahead, out this down to experience

this article, although not the same obviously, may help

you can lost 5lbs within 1 day but it will be only water.

You will need to buy a sweat suit.

on a boxing program called "then contender" the guy manged to lose 5lbs within the same day as his weight messurement.

So i am sure you will be able to do it.
