50 Yr old's fitness routine help

I work with a guy who plays badmington 3 times a week and goes to the gym 3 times a week. His gym gave him a routine mainly centred around machines, cables, smith etc. He completes the same routine every session.
Im tryin to knock something up for him and split his routine mon, wed, fri.
His goals arent to train for size, he just wants to tick over and be good at his racket sports.
Does anyone have any ideas?

racket sports require fitness, speed, agility and a cerain level of power. plyo's, sprints and calesthenics would suffice imo, maybe a bit of GPP.
