Good luck mate it's never to late to get back into lifting. I remember you back in the day weightlifting, a nice change although I'm sure your base strength will come back quickly.

Hello there Rusev. Judging by your previous personal bests in your signature I'm sure it won't take you long at all to be back to shifting some big weights.

Well yes and no HOM3R not interested in being strong as such would rather squat 100x15 reps than do 200x1 at this point of my life

    Welcome back mate.

A truck in the side of the gym would have been my card to barter for a full gym membership bud! Used to train at home for the longest time. Would not go back to it now. Do miss the money though lol.

Thats fair enough, your previous maxes should transfer well into some good repping numbers. I'm fairly sure a 100x15 squat will be acheivable in not too much time.

I think I used the damage to the garage as an excuse not to train, I could have got a membership money is not an issue, only 20 mins walk from home, was a member a few years ago platform for Olympic lifting lots of rubber weights bars were crap so I used my own and the owner even locked it away so nobody bent it doing bench. Garage gym I can train at midnight if I want and I know when I turn up nobody is on the platform or sitting on the bench.
So if I ever decide to compete again I could take my bar back
