5/8" pins for glutes?

All i have are 25g 5/8 pins which worked fine with my delt. Is it gonna go in deep enough with my glute? I'm pretty low BF so i don't think it should be a prob. but i just wanna check other wise im just gonna have to go for the right delt and be in pain for 3 days again.

    Too short for glutes IMO.

Why not try a bi or a tri?

Agreed with above comments, personally wouldn't use less than 1" for glutes.

even with low bf that's not a good idea, and I saw even a 1 inch is kinda short... you want it good in the muscle not just barely in and you don't wanna shoot adipose tissue... maybe if you're vascular cut on your glutes and inch MIGHT be ok... but why risk it when they are so painless anyways??

I think most people that claim low bf would be quite surprised how much tissue and fat there is between that outermost layer of skin down to the muscle should it be layed open with a scalpel, and then you don't want just that first bit of muscle... you want it deep intramuscular... long story short... no don't shoot glutes with a 5/8 quite

no chance for glutes, I would go for 1" for quads, but I can't stand the pain of shooting them.

delt, bis, tris are fine for 5/8

looks like im gonna have a gimpy right shoulder all week end. I guess i'll have to try and train shoulder tomorrow two and see if it helps break the oil up quicker, no way in hell im shooting my bi, might try my tris later on though as i've had shots from the doc there and there not that bad. thanks for the reply tho bro, now i can get to bed and hopefully get some longer pins tomorrow.

IMO You would have to have a lean mean butt with no fat and stick it in all the way.

Cant you order up some decent size pins - I love glute shots, no pain after.

well you could shoot adipose and have a large bruise... along with increased chances of abscess from what I understand!!

I shot glutes with 1" and ended up with a real nasty bump from it being to shallow. I was very lean at the time also.
