for 5x5 do you use the same weight and bump weight when you can get all 5x5 or do u ramp up weights with each set. eg:

45x5
50x5
55x5
60x5
65x5

OR

    Impossible to say really.

If training was quite frequent then the ramping approach would be less likely to result in fatigue/overtraining.

5x5 straight is probably better for hypertrophy, though it's easier to hit a wall with.

Or you could do both. 5x5 at a set weight on Monday and work up to a top set of 5 on Friday.

i must admit i only do 5x5 on deadlifts (squats i do 4x6). I generally keep the weight the same throughout, but every week or two try to get the 5 reps out with an extra 2.5kg on the bar for my last 2 or final set. Basically trying to prrogress slowly but surely. I do the same with squats but with 6 reps.

As a side note i was doing a couple of sets or 3 or 2 reps on deads before my 5 sets of 5 upuntil recently, but i had to visit the chiropractor yesterday so I'm just going to go back to the 5x5 and not be so clever (lower back pros on/off all the time)

    Hi Ppl
Okay first of all im new to this site and think its great.
Ive just got a couple of questions i need to ask if any1 more expericened than me can help.!
1-Ive been going gym now fo about 2 months and have been training on any machine that is free, ive been told that i should only work on two things a day e.g tris and chest or bis and shoulder or similar. Is this true or not if it is has any1 got a workout plan they use that they could pass on.

2-Im starting to use dianobol and wanted to know when i should take them and when e.g with or without meals, what time of the day and so on.

3-Also if any1 could post up what i should eat and drink and what i shouldnt do when using dianobol e.g drink plenty of water, dont eat burgers!

Your advise would be much appreiciated and helpful.

If you read Frankies post it tells you to do all sets with the same weight then when you can complete 5 set of 5 reps up the weight slightly and start again.
