6 months and crap gains?

me and my bro was training together at home but we decided the gym would b the best way to go, ive got my diet realy up to scratch and trained my arse of this last 6 months, ive had 1 week off training for some rest, lost my pump and probebly water retention and it looks like ive gained fcuk all and its cost me hundrerds off £s in the food and supps, it seems to me that most but not all people who look big with a cut look aswell r jucing it, or maybe im just doing something wrong but i cant c what, im always going up in the weights im doing but just dont grow, my chest still aint filled in with 2 years off training, what is the answer its driving me mad.

    ive been through all this before, at some point toxic toffee said my diet is on the right tracks, it consists of EFA flax seed oils fruit veg nuts protein shakes and ive been eating **** loads of chicken breast at least 3 a day with protien shakes and fruit and veg ect, u lot no the drill, routine is a 4 day split consisting of all the basic compounds, nothing seems to work for me perhaps ive hit my natural growth limit, what gains should b made in 6months with good diet what kind of gains do u guys make in 6months?
    its getting to the point where im thinking i may need to go on juice.

    this is the bit that does my head in if i had a fast matabolism then how comes ive put an inch of fat around my waist in this last 6 months, and thats with eating clean, is it possible that ive overtrained would that explain the lack of muscle growth, the reason for me taking this week off was because i noticed that i was getting less reps out on the pull ups and went down in weight in my shoulder press and had the feeling like i couldent b arsed with it.

    you're probs training to failure too much,two words about failure it suck!Stick with the routines above dont train to failure and you'll go far trust me,I've gained 4 stones off that waterbury fella's routines, he really knows his sh1t!

    i do but not really keen on putting them up cos 1)im a hairy **** 2)dont really see the need to,but if you really need proof etc i'll put em but im not really by any means very impressive but have made good progress from an aenorexic like starting weight of 8 stones @6foot to a now 175lbs@6 foot at roughly 12% bf.

    Because you're not eating enough. Try about 600 or 700 grams of chicken breast a day then. And a box of eggs. And increase the size of your shakes. And get more nuts down in between meals. etc etc.


    How much weight did you put on in total over the six months?

    Yeah, you're not eating enough. I know it's a bit anal but do you know how many calories you're eating per day. I'm tall and skinny too and when I finally managed to start putting on weight it was when I started to eat 4000+ cals a day. Before that I was getting fat around the middle and staying skinny everywhere else. When I started to eat more I actually looked leaner round the middle

    I would try full-body workouts too 3 times a week and only the big compound exercises. That guy Ice_mach rates is a top bloke for that kind of thang

    i would still advise agaqinst full body workouts, i would instead suggest doing a simple 5x5 routine or hit the big three compounds with some assistance exercises, you need the diet no matter what, if you are still worried about it then james does a diet service, get in and out of the gym as quick as poss hitting hard and intense
