    Hi Danny

    • Add some low glycaemic carbs for breakfast
    • Vary your food choices daily
    • Change semi- to fully skimmed milk
    • More fruit and veg

    Hi james,
Saw your post in reply to danny and just wondering what would you tell a total novice who is trying to cut down but not lose any muscular gains. I think im doing all the right things and eating the right foods..try to keep all my carbs to low/med glycaemic index, infact i tend to only get my daily carb allowance from one small bowl of wholewheat pasta around lunch time and some brown bread in the afternoon with some peanut butter as a treat. And i dont really seem to be seeing any gains im swimming quarter of a mile every other day first thing in the morning before brekie, swapping my energy deficits between cardio and weight training to keep the size..eating plenty of protein and keeping and eating every 2/3 hours.. any yet struggling to trim down and pull those abs through!

Maybe i dont do enough on my abs!

I dont know what im doing wrong!

I was looking at a maximuscle article about builidng the best abs the website sent me to a calorie counter and it came back with some crazy finger like 780 kl a day, which i thought that cant be right!?

Try getting a casine protein source for before bed to reduce catabolism

A skinny guy with a six pack is as impressive as a fat chick with big t*ts

Curious to where you get GABA from and how do u feel using it. Was keen to use some but lady in H&B told me that you can't get it in the UK anymore

Yes, or a slice of granary bread

You should be able to find alternatives

    Yes, less fat and cals
