A Supp For Mental Focus ??

This is a bit of a strange request but I'm going to be starting a job soon and its something I've already done in the past. The job is so unbelievably boring and repetitive and is the worst job I've had by a country mile.

Is there a supplement that'll make me zone out and just concentrate on the work. The main thing with this job is the boredom because the days drag on forever. I need some focus that'll stop my mind wandering.

Thanks,

    http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/health-supplements/ginko-biloba-information.htm

I actually used for a while and in that time i was quite switched on and memory was good, infact thanks for reminding me im going back on it for good. They sell it at Holland and Barratt.

Don't do it then.  No amount of suffering is worth it.

I really need the money and I don't have any other options. I'm gonna do it anyway but was just hoping there was something that could take the edge off a bit.

Its at a Asda Distribution Centre

Basically driving round forklift type thing with a pallet on the back picking various items. Very repetitive and the days drag-on like you wouldn't believe.

    Best combination of supps I've found to increase mental focus;

    caffeine (200mg), tyrosine (3-4g), taurine (1-2g)

You should be able to pick up the ingredients for the above stack from myprotein or bulkpowders for around £20 (will last you ages), so cheap enough to give it a go and tel us how you get on.

It's a sad, sad day when we are forced to take drugs to imrove focus for a fcking job.  I say u sack the idea, buy a hunting knife and live off the fat of the land.

It is a shame that people feel the need to take supplements to get through the day!

TBH mate, any supplement is going to make your mind work quicker and you will be more active mentally.

Seems to me the best thing to do in that job would be to switch off totally rather than take any stimulant type drugs! Alternatively, run through ideas in your head, work things out unrelated to the job, whilst on auto-pilot doing the job!

    Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I'm gonna try some stuff and see how it goes. I've had this job before and I never took anything and it was a nightmare, I do daydream quite alot but it never made the work anymore easier.

I'm gonna have to try the supplement side of things and experiment. The obvious thing to do would be to find another job but I've had literally no luck on that front and this my only option.

I'm too clever for this job and wish I could just turn my brain off and get to work but I have one of them mind thats always active and thinking about stuff and that in turn makes the day unbearably long.

There is nothing that Holland and Barratt sell that you wont be able to get from one of the board sponsors on here for a LOT less ££s

If I feel flat, tired and switched off mentally, a couple pro plus tabs a half hour before training helps get my mind where it should be and me up for the session. Cheap as chips too.

Awesome if you're tired before a night out too. Or jet lagged....

I'm a security guard in a corporate building, which is 12 hour shifts day and night!
on night shifts I'm too asleep! to get bored really. But if I'm really struggling then I'll treat myself to a bar of chocolate, benefits of a lightning metabolism!
