A few Q's on cardio

At the moment i am bulking so i am not too worried about b/f but what i would like is to get fitter so i have put 2 'cardio' days in my routine ( poss 3 ), and have a few queries :

1) how long after eating should i do c.v ( have to train in evenings )
2) After c.v should i still drink a whey in water
3) does it matter how long after c.v i eat a meal
4) If i want to increase fitness levels which type of cardio is best as at the moment i do about an hour at a moderate pace but is there a target heart rate ?

sorry for the mass of questions but would just like to clear this up as i have the training routine and diet sorted.

cheers

    1.)2 hours
2.) before def, as for after it depends wether ur doin HIIT or not, i usually leave it for better fat burning effects.
3.)as above, i would eat like 20-40 mins later.
4.) HIIT def, 1 min at around 40-55% heart rate, then 40 secs 70-85% heart rate. keep alternating between those two till u build up till 20-30 mins.

needs longer rest periods, i would be very suprised if anyone could hold flat out [it should be 100%MHR btw] for 40secs and only have 1min recovery [40-50%MHR] and keep up that for 20minutes. very suprised. should look at about 3min recovery.

i normally treat HIIT workout like any other i have my creatine+ whey+carbs drink

is that wrong to take advantage of the fat burning effects? maybe only have whey in water after the HIIT workout?

also, i take whey in water 30 mins before my HIIT is that ok?
