A thief or a thug?

Who is lower in your eyes?

Someone who steals from others who can't afford to be stolen from, just because he can?

Or

Someone who intimidates and violently assaults others who are too weak to defend themselves, just because he can?

    Thug is worse.

I know some thieves and whilst they are questionable characters they do keep to a 'moral code'. I'm not justifying it as someone always loses out, but they don't target people directly. The indirect affect on us will come in the form of increased insurance rates, which is robbery in itself for the most part.

Yes but what about scumbags who go into elderly peoples homes pretending to be from the gas board and then steals their purses? They are, to me, the lowest of the low.

Hmm I guess it comes down to personal preference lol. Personally I'd rather some lil sh!t ran off with my phone than someone just randomly bottle me.

Isn't it obvious, you just have to ask yourself would you rather be beaten/stabbed or have your iphone taken.

Most would just want something taken because of the fear of being beaten/stabbed.

I do a lot of push ups and sit ups. And I drink plenty of milk.

You may think it is obvious but many people despise thieves more than they do thugs.

I suppose it comes down to the type you're more likely to be affected by. Aa youngish guy is far more likely to have his head kicked in than be robbed. Hence why ots more likely to dislike a thug more

The thug you describe would be more severely punished in a court of law.

    You be the judge.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

Both absolutely the lowest scum you can get in my view, I suppose thug marginally worse because it's a more direct physical harm but people who prey on anyone for their own selfish gain are complete scum of the earth and I wish they could all be eradicated.

People who steal from charities, exploit the elderly and disabled, rape grannies or children - just kill them, I don't want them wasting my oxygen.
