A thought on Slavery and Bodybuilding.

when i'm in the gym, i do a lot of thinking between sets while i'm resting. i was in there today and felt extremeley motivated thanks to watching a Ronnie Coleman tribute before hand. And then i got thinking, back in the days of slavery, it is thought that selective breeding was in practice among many slave camps throughout america, mainly the southern states.

they did this to get bigger/stronger slaves to work on thr plantations. they could also endure the life of a slave longer and be easier to sell at markets and such.

so i was thinking, with Ronnie Coleman being African American, and most probably having ancestors involved in slavery, is it possible he achieved his massive size due to this kind of breeding and has inherited genes passed down from his ancestors?

to me it seems very possible, as some genes can lie dormant and resurface generations later.

but again, its just a thought. what do you think ?

I tend to think it's more to do with the years of dedicated training, eating, and all the drugs he's taken.

But that could just be me

Were Jay Cutler and Dorian Yates' ancestors slaves too?

That's deep thinking for the gym. I dont really stretch much further than:
"She's not wearing a sports bra"

"Wish that d*ck would finish with the 5's, I have kickbacks to do"

Does Ronnie Coleman (and maybe some other pro BBers) have a mystatin gene deficiency?
Obviously, someone who has it would make a great BBer, combine that with the correct diet, training and drug use and you have Mr Olympia?
