Are you OK now mate? Just a blip? I'm sorry but a lot of women just shouldn't be on the road, they haven't got a clue, completely in a world of their own.

Yes fine now mate thanks. Was a bag of nerves after. I stopped about a foot away from her great big stupid Audi. School run is the most stressful of things. Doesn’t help that everyone is a cvnt anyway.

I’ve literally gone 14 years with not a single incident/close call or anything to 2 in 12 hours.

It’s ok. Still hurts like fook. Pulled a 202.5 last week. Right now I think my grip is stronger then my back tho which is pathetic really. Taping thumbs makes a huge difference

No Shoulder or legs will be done today. Had an awful night, fever, coughing up mucus and everything aches. Will be good to give the dicky Shoulder and dodgy knee a rest but just annoyed I can’t seem to get any momentum.

Best pastry imo is marks and Spencer’s top end range.

Best filling is these from Aldi

Yeh helps loads. All Olympic weightlifters pull hook but they train for hours upon hours a day so they tape their thumbs to get the volume in. I suppose as powerlifters, you can do the majority of your training with straps. You only really need to be able to pull 3 singles on comp day.

I heard on the radio the other day, M and s was the best. Can't really go wrong with Aldi and Lidl either.

So much volume! Is hook grip to stay for you or just mixing things up?

Make me stronger!

Been out of action since the weekend. Finished my session on Saturday, came home and started throwing up /coughing up so much that there was blood streaks in the mucus. It calmed down after that and have been struggling to breathe again, and have literally been on my back for 3 days. The cold, went straight to my chest. Got docs and hospital tomorrow and they are reviewing my inhaler doses. Haven’t had to use it since June so quite peed off this has come back.

But started feeling better yesterday and managed to get into work today. Physically felt fine, just laboured breathing.

I’ve been itching to lift but to be honest tonight was a struggle. Not the actual lifting, that was easy, and the weight went up nicely but the amount of rest I need to catch my breath. 4 exercises took me over 2 hours.

This has knocked me for 6 and I don’t think I’m going to be able to hit GVT this weekend. It’s too much right now. I’m going to have to rethink but today was a good test.

I’ve been eating like an absolute dirtbag too and have put on a lot!
