Oly style movements when in your situation is probably not a good idea mate. I do still love you though.

9k power walk! Great effort that mate.

I have a similar forearm issue from pulling movements. I think my was caused doing upright rows. Haven't done them in 10 years but decided to add some in alonside barbell rear delt rows. After 4 weeks I canned them put still feel the results.

Really concentrating on uses hands as hooks rather than gripping anything tight. Pull ups are ok now but I'm really mindful of the speed i move trying to avoid an explosive movements.

Rest day Saturday but went on a nice walk in the freezing tundra that is the Essex salt marshes!

Out with the Mrs last night as daughter went to grandparents. Went pub, had 5pints and a mixed grill with chips and then cinema and had a double choc magnum! Not a bad cheat day.

Gym was freezing today but got some decent work in. Did some pressing and also an adapted style of rowing. Keeping the rowing light for now until bicep is 100’s.

How was the arm for session? Behave itself? Thats a good cheat day mate meat and beer. Couldnt ask for much more. My dog loves the cold walks round the country. Less people out due to coldness so more room for her zoom about

Cheers guys, Arm is much improved and I can lightly train everything bar biceps themselves without pain. But as soon as I try and flex or probate the arm, we have pain.. now that the inflammation has gone down, and I can actually get my fingers in and massage it, there are 2 parts that have issues.. the main distal tendon at the forearm insertion.. but I’ve found this other area on the side of elbow..

It only gives pain when I rub it, I really hope it’s not something properly serious.. was going to start self rehabbing with eccentrics on the bicep this week, but may have to seek a medical opinion of it doesn’t go away.

So for this week it’s going to be short quick full body sessions everyday, lots of supersets and just use it more like rehab and as a calorie burner. I do like a superset/Giant Set and my fitness is much improved of late so going to keep this up.. although I’m borderline CrossFit but more bro I think.

Brett is was aquaman. Good easy viewing, wasn’t amazing, a bit cheesy tbh. 6/10

Ox even tho I’ve got this arm issue, I do still feel in a good place mentally, and physically I’m making big changes weekly. I knew I would have to deal with the arm eventually, I trained for about 2 months in constant pain.. I’m using it as a sign my body was. It ready to do any serious strength work.. I’ll still throw some heavy stuff around from time to time but just going to keep things ticking over.. 2 more eeeks of dieting and cruise, then I’m going to a 6 week maintenance phase with a bit more sauce .. going to up carbs post workout to 100g and see what happens and hopefully be able to move some more weight around. Then get back on the keto for another 6 weeks. And hopefully then I should be low 130’s!

Nice couple of sessions mate, loads of work getting done.  I like the mix of strength and aestheticism.

I've done a bjj 1 day bootcamp.  It was good fun and a break from what I normally do.  I do wish there was more groundwork in my current system.  With grappling you can go "full beans" in a way that's not possible with striking unless you some serious injuries.

Thanks bud.. I am really enjoying this new style of training and all seems to be going well!

Yeh exactly that reason I want to learn a bit of BJJ. There’s quite a good BJJ gym near me that does adult beginners for £7 a session. It id need to be a lot lighter and less injured to go rolling on the floor!

Oct 29: 142.2kg - (Big Blast / 2 a day hypertrophy Training starts)

Dec 4: 147.1kg - hospital weigh - Cruise

4th Fullbody in a row. Going to take tomorrow off lifting as feeling it now. I haven’t been taking anything anywhere near failure but cumulatively it’s building.
.. Very noticeable when I’m on a cruise compared to a blast.. When people talk about having that ‘on’ feeling, for me it’s all about recovery and the ability to attack a workout no matter how you feel. Only tren gives me that ‘on’ feeling !

Tomorrow A beach yomp in the snow sounds fun(forecast for 10am in sunny Essex!) and then I’ll do a long sauna(like an hour)

Today was good, still noticing a major strength imbalance between my legs so this is going to be next bit of focus.. that and explosiveness.. did some more box jumping at the end. I haven’t been in a position to be able to do a simple jump safely in probably 10 years - one because of my historic weight and 2 my dodgy knee... but this is improving every session almost. Shows me it’s working! I also skipped for 100 unbroken reps twice today. Such good cardio but also im getting used to the stress that puts on ankles calves and knees and getting better and stronger in each day.. so all going well.. just need my arm to start working again without pain !
