Strong pressing mate.  Conditioning looks nasty, how was it?

BJJ could be fun. I remember I don't one MMA class years ago and sparred with someone as inexperienced as me practising kimura locks - instructor instructed us less then half strength, aim was to get the lock in when grappling. The lump I was sparring with subsequently got me in kimura full strength and elbow went - sounded like bubble wrap going off. Instant reaction I punched him and punched him hard in face - deserved it. But no more martial arts for me.

That’s just bad coaching tho mate. That instructor should never have paired you up like that on your first day with someone that obviously doesnt respect the fact you were a newb. Good on you for punching him! the black sashes I train with are such nice guys and really do dumb down the stuff to the less experienced. They all remember how daunting it was standing in a class not having any coordination or knowing how things work. But then the kite experienced you get the more welly they put things !

Yep massively bad coaching - 2 1st timers grappling togerther was not going to end well. Giving him a pop was an instant reaction as im not particularly aggressive person but that p*ssed me right off. Before when sparred with the proper experienced was great fun and you could tell they could tie you up in knots at will.

Session and a half there mate. Fasted as well - damn!

Yeh conditioning is tough! I had to throw in some kicking intervals as my arms were just not playing ball after punching and skipping! Can’t believe how quickly it’s gets your heart rate up!

Starting doing a bit of yoga is probably the best thing I have ever done. And I tell you what it’s even better in a sauna! If you can get to one I’d highly recommend it. (I can’t do everything I’d like as I’m large and the sauna is small but the amount of endorphins the 2 combined releases is incredible! )

Cheers mate.. Diet is going very well. But it’s catching me up! . Training too although I’m using it more as a way to increase TDEE. Training fullbody weights 6 days a week won’t do anything for hypertrophy but the hormonal benefits is massive. And it’s working really well .. one more week of hard pushing it then we change things up again! 6 weeks of a more lifting focus with a maintenance diet. Cannot wait tbh

Damn good session there mate I would have been out for the count after the 6km walk

I don't think people realise how hard heavy bag training actually is I used these routines

http://www.rossboxing.com/thegym/thegym24.htm

Unbelievable how hard it was but the results were awesome, condition just came on leaps and bounds

That's it I am getting another heavy bag and when the Mrs moans I will tell her its all your fault LOL

This is exactly how I justify pretty much everything I do! “Some guy on the internet told me to!”

I’ll be your own personal (chubby) slenderman

LOL I am picking my moment to break the news on the heavy bag

But be ready mate as my opening line will be "Animal said I need to train heavy bag again so can I get one" LMAO

The thing is you know how your body works and you are now in a position to take advantage of that. When things starts to catch up with you, its nearly time to change to the next 6 week block. The same with you knowing when its time to use small amounts of carbs for your advantage or have that short break from the diet altogether.

Last year was a very good year for you in regards to your weight loss. I think this year will be another good year but not just in continuing to lose fat but in muscle gainz as well.

Love (not) how you blast out a shed load of reps on incline smith to get ready for what's to come and it's already beyond what I'd target at my peak LOL

Long day at work. Heavy Kung fu Session. Then gym. I’m beat.

But I think I got a PB today.. can’t remember the last time I did a Thruster but 100kg moved well until just past midway.. then gravity kicked in and it had to be persuaded to lockout. Not bad in the hungry depleted state I’m in!

Cheers guys. Thrusters are good fun, especially heavy ones. It’s full body and explosive but it does cane the wrists a bit .. high rep ones are shyte!

DV, Bicep is much better but still bad. Much better as in day to day life is so much improved and I can do back pulling movements without any pain (using straps and focusing on only pulling with the lats.. sometime I don’t even grip the bar it’s it’s just the strap taking all the weight.

But curling with a flat palm has pain at about an 8 although hammer curls are fine. If i rub the affected area pain is like a 10.

With the negatives I’m doing for rehab, afterwards the tendon is pain free but quickly comes back a few hours later. I’m just going to keep what I’m doing as it’s working albeit slowly.
