Nice work mate despite the lethargy and DOMS.  I'm with you on the "be as big and bad as possible" philosophy but I modify it to "be dangerous".  That's my way of making sure I keep on top of mobility and fitness as well as brute strength.  Same basic idea though.

Ever had any estrogen issues when using dbol and test in combo? Both aromatise particularly dbol. I would be keen to run dbol on my first test cycle as you say if I'm going to do it might as well do it properly. Don't want to go through the test cycle for mediocre gains.

No. Only ever had Estro issues when test was above 1.2g. I would not run that much test with dbol tho. Christ nipples would be on fire!

But now.. before you even start.. DONT WORRY ABOUT ESTROGEN .. just yet!

E is beneficial but if it causes problems, then you address it. You don’t know how you react.. too many people start banging in the AI’s and the Nolva Straight off the bat and most of the time it’s not even necessary and gains are sabotaged needlessly.

That’s Animal’s Cardinal rule number 1!

Alcohol and methylated oral AAS are never allowed to mix . Ever.

It weird how I know cycle support supps and milk thistle is just snake oil, and Short term oral cycle is no worse then a bender with a couple bottles of rum... but I still make sure the old liver has the most pleasant and stress free time possible.. it’s like the window of gains. The magazines made it up but I still enjoy a pwo shake and feel something is missing if I don’t

12 February 20191

Much needed rest day yesterday and just went on a dogwalk and did some yoga.

As I said previously.. I’ve been feeling really tight and achy all over... well if I felt tight and achy before , I dread what this next week will bring.

Only 4 lifting sessions left until I go away on Monday and take a few days off and Deload, the princess Di finishes Friday, my daughters birthday is thursday and out Saturday which means feasting. So all this combined meant it needed to be stepped up this week.

While I have a fondness for the Russians for all things strength related, nothing beats a German for pure muscle building VOLUME!
And I can feel it now. It was actually all pretty easy until set 7 on both chest and arms.. then it hit me like a truck.. there was constant muttering and jeering of myself, yelping, a couple of screams only audible to me and the Great Dane next door. He felt my pain.

It didn’t help that I changed exercises too.. only slightly.. incline press to flat guillotine press and Close Stance to Wide Stance on the Leg Press. The Leg Press hurt more then anything.. I’m walking like John Wayne’s just been pegged by the hulk.

13 hours till back and shoulders..

A carbfest is vet much deserved after that lot.
You have always grafted but I'm really interest to see what this GVT approach does for you.
As you have always smashed in plenty of sets and reps it's not a night and day change but it's certainly a hefty tweak.

I don’t think Mac and cheese is an Italian dish sold in Italian restraunys lol!

Not enough (or any!) meat in macaroni cheese anyway.

I had lasagne so forno and Daviola calzone(ham, pepperoni, olives and chilli

The rests periods started at about 45 seconds but quickly increased as sets went on. Both sets of tens on each day took about half an hour so averaging 3 min a set (rest and work combined

I only use the GVT approach sparingly and as an intensity tool to over reach when coming to the end of a cycle or training block when I know I have some down time coming up for that super compensation! When the volume and intensity has smashed you to pieces and you can just sit and relax and build muscle doing nothing as you’ve already done all the work!

Only using it this time for 4 sessions. 10’s on the first run and 8’s on the second.

I’ve never run it as a full program before, if I was I would probably need to take 10-15% off the bar to make sure I had room for decent progression. You’ve peaked my interest so I might do this when I’m back

Not very happy today! Took my daughter to school and coming out stepping off the kerb stone into the street it was icy and I slipped down and my knee hyperextended back and now I’ve fvcking tweaked it.. and it’s my good knee ffs! I’ve had to strap it up today, put loads of heat treatment and ice and it’s abit swollen but something is def not right, hopefully it goes down soon.. I’m going hiking next week and I’ve got my Grading next Sunday. Going to have to take it easy at KF tonight and I might have to drop legs tomorrow.

I am fvcking cursed

Isn't it a bit early in the injury stage to be combining heat therapy on the knee, that won't ease any swelling.

Ice was to bring it down but I need to use it tonight at KF and the heat is helping to keep it moving. I realise that’s like putting a plaster in a gunshot but if my Grading wasn’t imminent I wouldn’t be. I’ve only got 2 classes left and I can’t miss any. I will have to refrain from kicking tonight and just stick with open hand
