Damn man you're brave doing box jumps with your knee history.  Looks like you've got it in hand though.

Bench looked lovely and smooth and a ton of volume.

That’s why I’m not jumping off the box !

Bench felt great actually for not having trained it in a month

Looking so lean in vid snow - such a difference! Only matter of time before the bro catches you and we see a posedown vid...

I have mixed feelings on captain marvel - don't like the fact they are bringing her in as the 'strongest avenger' from the off when comics wise she is a mid hitter at best and annoying as f*ck. But seeing skrulls on screen should be cool...

Cheers mate! Ha a pose down won’t happen anytime soon!

No mate that’s not true at all! I’n comics she’s always been one of the most powerful. Not as strong as Odin, the Ancient one or Ego tho but that’s why thanos didn’t attack until they were dead! And as they’re gone, it’s her and Thor as most powerful

Not only did Carol Danvers DNA get split with Kree. she was experimented on and obtained the power of a white hole (opposit of a black hole) and was known as Binary. She basically has the power of a star. she was left a cosmic being who can absorb and control massive amounts of energy and even manipulate gravity.

All I can do is just echo the comments above about you keeping the weight off. It's great that you are focused on the long term and not the little falls and climbs. You have to look at the trend... like the sharemarket.

Also looking forward to Captain Marvel! And then Endgame in another month!

Captain Marvel was awesome, well worth the midnight showing and lack of sleep the next day. Took an extra days rest. Up early again this morning to take my daughter to her Grading..Hit gym hard this afternoon.

Push Press. My nemesis. This lift ruptured the Patella from my knee. I strapped both knees up with wraps probably OTT but it’s more mental then anything. Started light and just went up. Everything was feeling great and moving well. Max set of 120kg but it was rapid. I didn’t want to push it on my first go back in 2 years but judging by how it feels and how fast it went I have 130+ .. which is not far off my all time PB of 140kg! Being quite close to an all time PB is amazing for me seeing as I haven’t been strength training and all my other lifts are well down on best.

Finished with some strict press.. I forgot how light Strict press feels after a heavy set of pushies. Triple and at 100kg!

Now Deadlift. Or rather Rack Pulls. This is not feeling good. First time pulling in a whole earlier this week but second session where I’ve got a pain in my but! Glute into top Hamstring. Same pain I feel when walking incline treadmill. So I’m going to take a while to get these feeling better. It’s almost as if I’ve forgotten how to fire certain muscles. I might see if it feels any different from the floor next week.

Well worth it. With marvel or StarWars films, I’m now always going to go to the midnight premier. So many cvnts who post spoilers online. It ruined black panther for me. It’s either that or avoid the internet like a plague!

I’m actually really impressed how much strength I’ve managed to retain while doing months of bro work.

And I think it’s also I’m not taking cals stupidly low and I’ve been doing carb cycling so heavy work on the weekends is always fuelled and then I’ll have lighter more conditioning based workouts in the week while following a keto diet. Seems to be working so far !

Filled with carbs, Bench Press moved lovely!

160 top set and then a couple of 5’a at 140. Im not happy with lockouts on Bench tho. It’s always been my strongest point so I’m going to include some close grip work for a while.

Knees are feeling good but I don’t want to start full squatting yet. I feel I rushed it last time. So I’m going to be doing some safety bar box squats which lets me load the movement without the stress on the patella.

I’m not going to be doing many YouTube vids anymore, training will be put on my new Instagram!

I have to say it is disappointing that captain marvel is a bird. An incredibly fit one though.
Superman would destroy her though yeah?

Give me an hour and a bottle of wine or two and there would be some destruction !

But yes, superman’s abilities make him unbeatable. It’s actually funny how everyone is complaining that captain marvel is so overpowered.. look at superman ... Invulnerability(except for kryptonite), superhuman strength, flight, super-speed, durability, heat vision, x-ray vision, microscopic and telescopic vision, superhuman hearing, freeze breath, and the ability to generate gale-force winds with his breath.

But that is why he is a superman! Lol

Good to see your strength still remains especially after losing so much weight bud! Maybe we really don’t lose that much muscle as we think we do if we are still training hard.

Glad you said captain marvel was good. Missus don’t want to see it, my usual marvel buddy is out of town and I won’t be able to see my son for a bit so it might be a solo experience for me!

It also helps that I’m coming to the end of a tren run. When it ends it does tail off a bit by I’m Keeping the cal deficit quite small this time and using calorie and carb cycling.. i won’t be loosing as fast as I could on a heavier deficit but my output will be more productive so hopefully it balances. We shall see

Cheers bud. Yeh I didn’t like cluttering my normal insta page with lifting so a dedicated one will let me look back much easier then YouTube’s. and who knows I might even land a fit tea ambassador gig or become a CBD oil slash mattress Rep!
