Acne Sufferers... Retin-A Gel

I got my hands on a few tubes of this stuff from across the seas and Ive only been using it for a week. The reults are nothing short of incredible so far. Almost all have cleared up, scarring nearly gone (redness away anyway). Brilliant stuff if you can get it. Think its POM over here tho.

Its very good alright. From what I've been told its basically accutane in a topical application.

I'd have to disagree from my experience with Retin-A.

Saw moderate results but nothing worth writing home about! But like I've said before on this subject we all respond individually to topical treatments.

is it POM that a doc can prescribe or can it only be prescribed by a derm?

Are we allowed to talk about priceing of this? if so how much did you pay and for what concentration of the gel? and is there any difference between the gel and the cream?

    No mate.

It's a prescription only medicine. Selling it without proper liscense is illegal.

Get if from your GP and it will cost you very little.

Ok bro not a problem i'll get my dad or grandad to write me a prescription, just thought it may be cheaper to buy else where. What do we call very little under 20 quid a tube?

I think a prescrption costs £6.50 or thereabouts.

So that's what you'd pay for your RetinA from your GP I think. Unless you are exempt from charges, in which case your prescription would be free.
