Adapting Chest routine

Hello

While trying to shake up my routine I checked out one of the stickies in the bodybuilding forum -

on the 4 day split there is a chest/bicep day

chest
Incline Bench Press 3x8
Incline dumbell bench press 3x8
Incline dumbell flye 2 x 10
Flat dumbell flye 2 x 10
Flat bench press 3x8

Being honest by the end I was totally donald ducked - I think I may drop 2 exercises here

any adviceon the best to keep

cheers

lot of volume there especially if going to failure.

i would start with a flat bench press.
i would drop one fly movement and one press movement.
    6-10 sets is probably enough.
though if your gianing well on current routine, no point changing it.

if you do need to change. try a new routine for at least 6 weeks so you can see if you make any progress on new routine that is better than the older one.

Depends on how long he has been training and to what intensity really.

Also whether he is using gear or not and how much food he eats.

Basicly push your self to the max is the one way to ensure hypertrophy, whilst making sure all movments are clean weight isn't the key issue.

If you think you need to drop two: Inc Fly & Inc BB Press...

Chest and bicep is a weird split.. do you mean they are on same day right if so where does the bicep work come in?
