Adding oats to egg white liquid/powder

The Bulk Powders ones come in Liquid form anyway, so if I added some oats in the morning with the egg whites to a shaker, put it in the fridge, would it then be ok to have mid afternoon? And if I used the MP powdered form added water and then oats would be ok to take in the afternoon to?

i imagine it'll probably clump up a bit as the oats absorb the egg. you could just add a bit more water and mix it though?

or put your oats in a tub and add them to the refrigerated eggs when you want to drink them

The only thing to worry about would be bacterial/fungal growth in the oats, and those won't grow very quickly in the fridge. With that said, I think morning to afternoon is about as long as I would go unless you've boiled the oats.

Another option would be to grind the oats into a powder and add it to the drink just before you drink it. That somewhat defeats the purpose of slow carbs though.

I will do that.....I originally asked the question because I thought I would not have to prepare yet another beaker but I'll do it.

This might sound insane, but I often make an "oat drink" by just pouring some boiling tea water onto a scoop of rolled oats in a mug, swirl it around a few seconds so the oats soften, then add some cool water to get the temperature down. It tastes like slimy porridge, really, which is quite acceptable in my book.

It is also quite possible to just stuff a pinch of rolled oats in your mouth and add a sip of water for no-dishes instaporridge. It doesn't even taste that bad, oats are somewhat sweet with cold water. People will look at you funny though.

I think the carbs in the oats will be absorbed much more slowly if you don't pulverize them. And your farts will be much less explosive, though no less frequent.
