Adequan, any1 heard/used this before?

I read on another board someone recommending the use of Adequan to help with joint/muscle injuries. It is basically an injectable form of glucosamine. I think it is doesed fairly high too, since it is for horses. Anyone have any experience with this? Would it be beneficial to take it for soft tissue damage in my lower back? Thanks.

Thanks, there is some info on anabolex that answered my question, but maybe others will be interested to know about it. From the reports, the results have been great, check it out if you have joint problems, this may be a permanent solution to your troubles. I've read about this lately as well. I don't know if it could help with a lower back injury though, did you have disc problems? If it did I would try it right away!!!
It's used to treat arthritis in dogs and horses. It has an anti-inflammatory, amd pain relieving effect. Might be of use to heal tendonitis.
If I could get my hands on some, I think I would give it a try and it's not too expensive either but you do need a script from a vet doctor.

No disk problems, just tendon strain. There are a few sites on the net that dont ask for a script I believe. Most do tho.
