Advanced Whey Cholesterol

After a recent blood test I was told that my Cholesterol level was aroung 5.5, having pumped the Iron for over 15 years I expected it to be lower. The reason I attributed to this rightly or wrongly was a prolonged intake of Advanced Whey made bt a popular British Company. On the label it shows 45mg cholesterol per serving!

Is this worrying? I've stopped using these products and gone back to the good old Casilan 90.

Comment welcome.

I know what your saying but I assure you my diet is fine.
I just received a reply from Prolab America telling me that Cholesterol is just that! Cholesterol, it's the body that changes it from LDL and HDL? and vis versa.
Don't like the sound of that, where do they get their recipies from?
That's why I'm asking, if that's the case why include it without explanation in their product's.
If I'm being thick then so be it!
Don't assume we all eat donuts all day, I eat chicken, rice and egg whites, I weigh 220lbs and my 3 lifts qalified for the British Power Lifting Championships last year, I now get all my protein from food (red meat, topside aswell) and some Casilan when desperate. I did hit the advanced whey for a period but no more!

I am not sure what to recommend other than include healthy fats i.e olive oils, nuts, fish oils, flax, extra virgin sunflower oil etc eliminate any trans fats and processed foods. Keep animal fats low. Use low G.I unrefined carbs. This could be genetic. A breakdown of HDL/LDL ratio, as well as triglycerides could have told you much more.

    Many thanks.

Doctor could have been more helpful, still a concern that this is on the tub.
I made the mistake of thinking it would be easy to consume liquid over food, as with everything moderation must be the key.
