Age differences...

Ok, I know there's been a lot said on this subject, and I'm not sh*t stirring... just asking.

Does anyone else remember being 15/16 and friends you knew had girlfriends & boyfriends that were much older (or maybe you had a much older partner yourself?)... what were your thoughts about those people? Did you find it weird that a 20-25 year old was seeing someone you were still in school with? Or was it seen as normal? Did you care at all?

For thoughs with younger partners; do you ever feel like people that matter (your or your partners parents & friends) are judging you? Does it bother you? Are you worried about being in a relationship with someone much less emotionally mature/experienced than yourself? Are you sometimes embarrassed by them?

We do not forgive. We do not forget.

Yeah when we were doing A-Levels at school there was a girl who dated a couple of older guys.

It was obvious the girl 'put out' so perfect for a guy who was only into one thing.
Lookig at the guy - well she was 17 so it was legal, not morally wrong. Just a bit strange really. Not my sort of thing. But that said I'm dating a 20 year old, I'm 24 so the gap in years isn't much different.

Yeah but there's a big difference between being 24, nailing a 20 year old and being 20 and nailing a 16 year old? Isn't there?

When i was at school, the girls my age (14/15) were all taken by guys who were 17-20 so it was very uncommon to see two people from our year as boyfriend-girlfriend (about 2couples from my half of year)

Hence the reason that lots of girls were in relationships

I didn`t really care, I suppose I was at the age where`if I fancied the girl then why shouldn`t someone else`.

Her friends think she can do better for sure lol, they`d prefer her to be with some non smoking spikey haired office nancy boy like they`ve eneded up with .

Well she`s never embarrassed me in company if that`s what the question is asking mate and if anything she was more emotionally mature than me in many ways, she brought out some qualities I`d long forgotten I`d had.

There's a girl round the corner keeps giving me the eye and smiles etc. I think I'll need to chat her up. Think shes about 16. I'm 25 but shes cute and looks mature for her age. ;) She'll do me fine anyways lol.

But really all the time when I was at school the hottest birds would be dating guys in there 20s etc even after scholl at 17,18,19 hooking up with 30 year olds.

I had 17 a at 23 and plan to do a lot worse in the future. I dont find many girls over 18 that much attractive tbh.

Exactly what i thought when i was younger. It was only when i grew up a bit that i realised how weird it was, that some of the 15 year old girls, had 20+ year old boyfriends.

I think I'm a bit strange because at 17, 18, 19 I was always after the older women.
Used to go to the over 25's nights at the night club and got in because I knew the doormen.

When I was aged say 15 to 17, most of the best looking girls in my year were with guys a few years older

Did we care? Not that I remember. It was just one of those things. Made it harder to pull girls though!

I just find it odd, for 16 year olds to be seeing someone towards/in their 30's. What really can a 16 year old other than T&A? Yeah i'm sure they are riverting to have conversations with...

I've gone from a relationship with a 38yr old to one with a 19yr old....I'm 25 btw. I got on much better with the older one, but the younger ones way fitter.....damn I wish I wasnt so shallow sometimes!

I agree with pete, I was seeing a 35yrold when I was 19 (20 now) and she was much more mature than birds my age and experienced!!!.
From her point of view, I dont think she was quite happy about the age difference. But young birds are hotter imo

When I was younger, one of my friends was dating a 20 year old when she was 14. That was ten years ago now. But two years ago, said boyfriend got locked up for a couple of years for sexualy assulting two 15 year old girls. Says it all really as far as Im concerned.

My partners 8 years older than me.
Our age gap dont cause any issue.
I sometimes say things such as... When i was 8 you were just leaving school etc.
Makes the age gap seem that much bigger that way Haha.
When i was of school age i was always with older fellas, didnt see any wrong in it at the time, but i do now.
I cant see the attraction of a 14/15/16 year old to someone of the age of 20.
