Alcohol

Im tyring to serious train right now. And alcohol use to be a big park of my life. Drinking 8/10 pints per day of stella and loads more at weekends. £ weeks i aint touched a drop and gone back to training.

I went out last night and had 3 pints. Is this an ok amount per week??? I dont want to slow down my training at all for the new few months but its hard drinking orange all through the week at the pub then friday night.

any advice on how to is ok to drink?

    Everything in moderation IMO...

3 pints PW from 10 pints ED is

    quite an acheivement BTW

Went out last night i starte don orange but come ten o clock every one was well drunk and it was hard not to. So had 3 pints. Still totally sober of course but this morning i felt guilty and had abit of ago at myself saying i ruind this weeks training and effort now. ;/

no mate 3 pints will not ruin your training, it may blunt it marginally sub 1% but thats worst case scenario, seriously nothing to worry about in all honesty

8 - 10 pints per day and more at the weekend

You were heading for some major health problems if you had kept that rate up for much longer, so well done for cutting it back by so much.
3 pints per week will not harm your training at all. As mick says everyting in moderation, which 8- 10 pints per day most certainly wasn't.

Yeah, the biggest problem alcohol has on your training and diet, is that you tend to not eat while your out, then struggle eating when you wake up the next day.

I imagine there are very few tee-totallers on here anyway, lol.
